ILTA 2013: Tips for Attendees

#1: Set Clear Intentions

Take a few moments to set clear intentions of “what success looks like” in terms of your attendance and which outcomes you are working toward.



#2: Create a Plan According to Your Goals

Familiarize yourself with the program and locations of conference events. Plan your time and locations based on the goals that you’ve set.



#3: Leave Room for Serendipity

Be sure to leave some room in your schedule to take advantage of opportunities for last-minute or spur-of-the moment networking. At a conference like this, you never know who you might meet or what you might learn.
